DEL Wristwatch

The DEL wristwatch has a very subtle design. Its smooth transition gently blends the distinctive materials into one another. I used a strict and straightforward grid of circles, ellipses, and convex surfaces to define the shape. But the core of the concept is the dial. I thought for a long time on how to create a symbol for the basic idea of time measurement. The division of natural days into hours and minutes, into day and night. I formally transferred this idea to the dial and divided it vertically into two parts. There are no indicators, no typo and no pattern which could distract from the core concept. The result is a refreshingly honest wristwatch that blends the mystery of being a symbol with the simplicity of its design.
