My name is Marc Schömann, I am an Industrial Designer based in Frankfurt.
It´s highly fascinating to see the progressing convergence between the digital and the natural world. As a child, I observed the digitalization with a broad open mouth, since then it changed about every aspect of our lives. I became a designer because I was too curious and excited to observe this process from the sideline. I aspired to be involved in this process, and that’s why the confluence of these realities is the core of my work today. A sincere desire for discovery drives my enthusiasm for design ever since. That’s why I love to work on in-depth projects based on fundamental research and knowledge.
I´m currently working as a freelance designer and always looking for exciting projects so feel free to get in touch!
First Work Experience
I had the chance to make my first experiences with reputable Clients like Continental at Renner Produktgestaltung during college. I worked on several projects for the automotive industry, mostly regarding future Human Machine Interfaces (HMI).

Design research with InEar
After graduating, I worked for three years on the first publicly funded design-oriented research project in Germany. We researched together with InEar on cutting-edge connected hearing protection that meets the requirements of future industrial workplaces.
